It’s another episode in quarantine thinking about this gorgeous fall color Mammoth Lakes engagement session.

If you’re like me and get adrenaline rushes seeing tall mountains, I think you’ll enjoy Mammoth Lakes. It’s is a town in California’s Sierra Nevada mountains. It’s known for the Mammoth Mountain and June Mountain ski areas and nearby trails. Mammoth is loaded with outdoor activities and stunning views all around, it’s going to be your sweet weekend getaway.

Plus, this area has lots of hot springs – there’s no better feeling than relaxing after a long day exploring the mountains.

Since it’s in the Eastern Sierra, a sunrise session will capture the mountains in all its glory. We met up the night before and did a little camping. The moment I met Whitney & Hunter, it’s was this immediate connection between us since we both love being outdoors and enjoy quality moments. They were excited to see the Eastern Sierra for the first time and it was safe to say that it blew them away! I still remember how we screamed and jumped when the first light hit the mountain.

It’s also their first time taking photos. Like other couples, they told me that they were nervous and not photogenic, but as soon as we started, they totally killed it! I think the mountains help. We had a great time running around the area, checking out hot springs and lakes, getting excited like little kids. I think it’s important to keep your inner child wild, right? There’s nothing better than sharing sweet moments with loved ones in nature.
