Are you lovers of the mountains and the sea? A Big Sur engagement session would satiate your wild spirits. Big Sur is located in Central California with scenic drives for miles, one side facing the ocean and the other leaning towards the mountains. Driving here also means you gotta be ready to stop every 5 minutes or so because of the jaw-dropping views and wondering how do places like this even exist?
Another special thing about Big Sur is that time seems to stand still here. And I think it releases some kind of chemistry that makes you let loose and really enjoy being at the moment (kinda nerdy but you gotta visit and see for yourself)!
Big Sur is absolutely beautiful, but it’s not the easiest to get to since it’s a long drive from San Diego. Kelli & Matthew wanted to have something uniquely “West Coast” for their engagement session. Since they wouldn’t mind the distance, I knew they would love this gem!
Their Big Sur engagement session turned out way better than I could have imagined! We wandered through the trees, drove through sunsets, played with the wind, danced our butts off. We laughed at the ridiculous cold and loving every minute of it. Seeing their connection in this setting just melted my heart!
